Even in local elections, the pollitical ads can be very negative. Check this ad from Central New York:

I don’t have any feelings one way or the other about either of these candidates, I just thought this was an odd type of ad for a local campaign. It’s kind of an odd ad in general, like one you’d see on “Veep” as an example of an ad they’re making fun of.
